During General Conference Weekend, we went to the Pocatello Idaho Temple open house! It was beautiful and most of my family was able to be there together! This is the second open house we have been able to take the kids to. Now that the Rexburg North and Smithfield Temples have been announced, I hope we can go to a couple more!
There is always fun to be had a grammas house! There is lots of space and lots of random things to find and do. The razor is always a favorite.
We went to the Wild Adventure Corn Maze. They have sooo much more than just a corn maze! I can't even count the amount of times the kids rode the zipline.
There was also a bungee jump, fly by candy drop, barrel train and bounce pads. SO many things to do!
Nolan dropped as soon as he stopped.
These puppies are keeping everyone busy. There is always someone with a puppy.
Quigley looses ALL of his fluff in the bath!
Grayson's last few football games were VERY cold. I had to sit in the car because I could not stand it. Tyler was somehow fine. Nolan and Lyla would go out, freeze, come warm up, and head out again.
We also really love free popcorn Saturday at Ace.
I just cannot with Lyla sometimes. She is CRAZY funny and always up to something. Never a dull moment with this fiery girl! She ALWAYS finds something silly at the store to put on. She adamant that preschool needed to be done while in the kayak.
I mean come on, just look at her!
In preparation for Halloween we picked and carved pumpkins! There was mess, there was fun and there was competition. Lyla won the contest the with most votes on her pumpkin. Tyler remembered a picture of himself when he was little and recreated it. I think they have their daddy's genes!
We got new to us couches. I've been looking for a long time. I finally found a set I was willing to pay for! It was a great deal and the blend in nicely! There's two, buuuut, this is the only picture that I have.
Our school had a quick and easy Halloween Carnival. Everyone dressed up and enjoyed the carnival games.
On Halloween we were invited to Nana and Papaw's ward Trunk-or-Treat. Its my favorite thing! They are so simple. After that we hit a couple streets in our neighborhood. Our neighbor told us about a house with amazing decorations and a fire breathing dragon. The kids begged and begged and begged to go. Guess who was tooo scared of all the fun decorations? The children who begged and begged and begged.
Look how crazy awkward scary their eyes are? hahahaha.
When the leaves have mostly fallen to the ground, it means we have to pick them up. When we clean them up, we jump and play in them. This year we had more than a couple neighborhood friends join in. There were children and leaves, everywhere.
Even the puppies joined in.
Until next time...
