As a child growing up, I NEVER missed a year at the Blackfoot Fair. The food, the rides, the 4H horses. I love it! This year we convinced the kids to not do any rides at our fair in town and save up for the rides at Blackfoot. We had such a fun day! Lots of fair food and lots of rides! We wore ourselves out!
This ride and the swings were a favorite. Nolan loved the swings and went more than a couple times.
Grayson was big enough and brave enough to ride more than a couple of big rides. He tried most of them once.
These last two pictures are my favorite. My mom's camper has a triple bunk in the back. The kids were exploring and I caught all of them sticking their heads out the window. So cute and funny!
Now that Tyler and I are in our 30's we are finding that we can't treat our bodies the way we used to. Sometimes, Tyler gets sick on rides now. He asked for less drowsy dramamine to be able to ride all the big rides with Grayson. This picture is the moment the "less drowsy" kicked in. I laugh more than a little bit when I see it.
It's still very warm and feeling like Summer. Nolan and his scooter got in a fight with the sidwalk. He has a really good scrape and he cried the hardest I think he ever has. Tyler finally got a haircut and Lyla's leaning to write her name.
Tyler took sometime to clean out the summer shed that the children mess up all summer long. It looks great! We cleaned out the shed just in time because we found a killer deal, ON KAYAKS! I have wanted some for a while and my patience paid off!We did a lot of fishing this summer. Here's the thing, Grayson is always catching fish, because Grayson fishes. Nolan and Lyla fish a little, play a little and then they are sad when there are no fish. I'm not sure what they expect.
Tyler leaned waaaaaay into the water to keep a fish from dying. I had the camera ready just in case. No dice, he didn't fall in. I was a little disappointed, too.
Until next time....
