April 2022: Easter, Grayson's Program and all the things.

Soon after our trip to Texas, it was time to prepare for Easter.

First up, Grayson's whole 3rd grade had a recorder program. I was expecting to cringe and hate the entire thing, but this kids worked hard! Their music teacher is a magician! She had those kids sounding SO great! He had a part in the program that he worked to memorize. He continues to work so stinking hard a school! He loves reading and learning. I hope we can keep that alive.

Tyler was not able to come home for Easter, but we keep things going we dyed eggs and matched for Easter Sunday. The kids had color coded eggs this year and they were everywhere! It's fun to watch them enjoy looking for them.

I have always loved music and I love to sing, but I love to listen to my children sing even more! Our Easter Sunday program was SOO amazing. So many great musical numbers that truly brought the Spirit. I am going to miss this loving ward. A lot.

We were at Kenney and Teresa's for Easter Dinner. Grayson was so excited to sit at the adult table and eat his weight in rolls and ham.

Papaw had the idea and Nana organized an Easter Egg hunt, with grunt work from Kendra. Each egg had a number which matched a prize on the table. Grayson was very bummed to miss out on the Dino cup, but VERY excited to get a couple dollars. Aunt Emma didn't need the cup and graciously passed it on to Grayson in the end. I LOVE the prize table idea, it will probably be featured next year!

Even though Tyler was in Texas, we added him to our family Easter picture. Better ghetto, than never.

The week after Easter, Tyler came for a visit. We get too busy spending time with him to get many pictures. To say the puppies have missed him in an UNDERSTATEMENT! We love to talk to Chancie. He's HILARIOUS
I found these cute pictures. But where is one of Grayson? I'll never know.

Lyla accomplished a big girl goal and learned to ride her bike! She got in one big scrape and was almost too scared to try again. We took the bikes to Nana and Papaws. Their road is the BEST for learning to ride bikes. She quickly picked it up again, she's a Rockstar!

You can thank Teresa's blog for at least HALF of these pictures, because I'm still learning to remember to take them. We will be SUNK in Texas without her pictures!
In May, we move to TEXAS!
Until next time...
