March 2019

March usually begins with baby goats! They kids get so excited to go see them! Lyla could not handle it. She thought they were so cute and started chasing them around the pasture. She would laugh when they made noise and tried to imitate them!

 

 

Then the boys got the weirdest sickness. One day they would have a tiny fever. The next day, there was nothing! Then the next day the fever came back higher and longer! It meant 4 days of missed school for Grayson. We are glad it passed over Lyla and is now gone! I do like fevers of all the sicknesses. It's the cleanest bug and it's the only thing that slows them down!

 

We now to get to hear from Tommy pretty often! It's a nice change! Sometimes we get cute pictures during Come, Follow Me.

 




The sun came out and everyone needed some sunglasses. Grayson had an eye appointment and needed new glasses. He needed a stronger prescription and we were instructed to do some exercises at home.

 

 

St. Patrick's Day went about like this:

And we went to the DUMBEST circus ever! I do not recommend King Cole Circus. I'm glad I didn't pay full price.

Trampolines went on sale and we added one to our lives. We had lots of help and lots of fun! We only had to do the springs 3 times because we missed some steps...

 

 

 

Let me tell you, these kids love their daddy and it's because he totally deserves it! He always plays with them and gives them his time. They want to be like him and that's the best thing they could try to be! 

 

The kids love each other most of the time and I love they way they play together!

February 2019

The Super Bowl start out February for us. We had good snacks and an uneventful game. Lyla and Zachy got caught at the snack table getting a sugar rush!  Tyler has some new healthy snacks and the kids beg for as many as they can get! Nolan and Kendy got a cool picture in front of the super moon. 

 

Next, I turned 30. I'm so lucky that Tyler loves me! Not only did he let me purchase Wicked tickets, he came with me and enjoyed the show! We ate at Rodizio Grill and had Cheesecake Factory for dessert! It was so fun and I'm grateful my mom and sisters were able to come down last minute and keep the kids overnight! My mom took them to a movie and dinner while they played with cousins! They had a blast!

 

Valentine's day was fun! They boys love giving out valentine's to their friends and family. They loved the balloon and laser pointer Tyler brought home for them! Nana's cars were a hit as well.

 

Nolan and Lyla love each other sometimes. I got THREE loving events on camera as proof! 

 

Emma had a lot of appointments to get ready for her gallbladder surgery and we got to spend some time with Sammy and Teresalynn. They all played together very well! Lyla is an ok sharer, but needed to let me know that she was not thrilled with the idea. She stormed into the kitchen and declared, "MY TOYS!", then went back to playing. 

 

Grayson got to make a poster and be the shining star in his class! He was so excited! Tyler took a selfie with Blue, she will only ride in the front seat of the car now! Nolan gave the Avengers, some trusty "steeds".

 

Lyla is always carrying around her baby from Grandma Jean. Grayson keeps acing spelling tests and my dad brought the boys their new favorite dinosaur jackets!

January 2019

We started our new year off with a fun New Year's party. We played lots of Harry Potter games that Emily got for Christmas and ate lots of delicious snacks. Lyla was very popular whenever she had a phone with fun videos. She disappeared upstairs to watch a movie with Mia and they fell asleep all snuggly. It was very cute! We all gave up around 1030 because.... kids. It was still a fun night! 

 
Lyla girls did a lot in January. Her hair is now long enough for pig-tails! I have to be very careful with her super fine hair, but we try! She loves her little babies and spends the day wrapping them up and putting them to bed!

 

 

Grayson is working hard as ever! He got 100% on his first spelling test of the year and earned a "chip award" from his teacher. He said she uses "magic" to make it.

 

He also wants to do everything himself! He worked really hard on that hair do! He's also great at helping his little sister whenever he can!

 

Nolan got and shared the worse cold we've had yet! He ran a fever, lost his voice for 5 days and coughed for about 7! He is my most vocal child, to not hear from him for 5 days straight was the craziest thing ever! Lyla and Grayson got sick as well, but Nolan was hit the hardest! We took a catch-up nap one day while Grayson was at school. Nolan said he wasn't tired and then slept for the next two hours! When he started feeling better we popped open a squishy ball and played with the slime inside.

 

The kids always steal my phone and take pictures, when I look they take some 100+ but sometimes get cute ones! Grayson and Lyla took a selfie. I was cleaning out baby things and Lyla found the bumbo. She kept moving it, trying to get in, and crying after she was stuck. The bumbo is gone now, finally.
