March

The month of March always begins with my brother Bobby's birthday! We eat cake and look at pictures of him. The boys enjoy blowing out a candle for him. Lyla had her first bit of cake and frosting. She couldn't get enough.

Grayson's classmate had a birthday party and a bounce house place in Logan. We had a lot of fun and the little cars that kids can drive were a favorite!

We went to my mom's for a weekend to let Tyler have a quite house so he can study. His classes are really hard this semester and we can't wait for them to be over! He will be done in May and it can't come fast enough! Little Lyla girl wasn't being shy as she played with my grandpa her name sake. She really seems to like him, which is odd for her as she doesn't really like anyone. Their souls must be closer to the veil than we realize. I love my grandpa and he has really struggled and caught up to his years. I want to keep him here as long as I can, but I see his tiredness beginning to wear him down. Here's to the knowledge that families can be together FOREVER!

Grayson LOVES Zachy boy and has fun playing with him. He willing shared any type of food he has if he feels like Zach is asking for it. The frosting was favorite! Lyla isn't crawling yet, but she can scoot on her butt in millimeters. She's able to sneak up on Nolan to take his headphones and kindle quite often. He thinks it's hilarious... for about 2 minutes haha.

This year all 3 of my kids JUST HAPPENED to have something green that fit on St. Patrick's Day. Look at these littles that I love so much!

There are baby goats again! The kids love to hold them, chase them, and try to get them to faint! Nolan finally noticed one of the momma goats head butting another. He was very concerned that she would get him for trying to touch her babies.

In March the sun comes out and we think it's warm and time to hit the park. Nolan was so happy and excited to play in the sand at the park. Until he got cold, which was FAST! His pictures are hilarious!

Lyla is 10 months old! She is NOT a busy baby. She is content to sit, watch and have everything brought to her by her older brothers. Her hair is long enough to put in a pony with out breaking to pieces. Still no teeth and no desire to move. She is starting to get a taste for food and beg for a bite.

April is our busiest month of the year yet! A wedding and finals... Will. We. Survive??
Until next time.....

February

We had fun in February. Tyler took each of the boys on an "adventure" and they LOVED their special daddy time. Nolan had sandwiches and Grayson had breakfast! Tyler loved eating out with his favorite little boys.

Lyla is growing and I can't believe she is 9 months old! She still sits around like a bump on a log and has NO desire to move! She really has started to enjoy food and LOVES peanut butter!

Lyla and Zach get to spend a little time together on Tuesday's. He moves so much that it's hard to get a cute picture, but look at those babies!

Grayson was busy with school. He earned a cool bracelet that his daddy LOVED in kindergarten too! He had so much fun sharing Valentines with his friends. He also took HUGE cookies to share for his half birthday! They were big enough to cover my hand! At his latest eye appointment, they gave us some exercises to practice at home and he gets to wear fun glasses! Grayson gave his very FIRST talk in primary and did a great job! He was so excited. He talked loud and clear and remembered most of the words just by me handing him the picture; it was a very fun experience.

Nolan is my boy at home. His imagination is so fun and I love to watch him play! He took this mirror and said, "I'm Captain America, I'm here to help you!". He got to have an eye appointment too and sadly wants you to know that he doesn't need glasses like his big brother.  He got in on the Valentine's Day fun and shared valentines with all his friends from his primary glass. His favorite friend was the only one home to get a picture; it was even better that she had a valentine for him too!

He has worked really hard and can almost write his name alone! We got these magnetic tiles for Christmas and FINALLY were able to build the Ferris wheel.

Tyler was informed on a Wednesday night that he was flying to California the next day and needed to leave at 4 am to fix a problem at work. He sent plane pictures to the boys and we missed him for two whole days! They can't wait for their turn to ride on a plane with daddy!

My babies took their one and only bath together! They just don't fit! Lyla and I get to match for my brother's upcoming wedding! They boys have been learning to play hide and seek. Let's just say they need a LITTLE more practice!

Look at me staying all caught up!
Until next time...

January 2018

Happy New Year and Welcome to 2018! We are very excited to bring in 2018! We are expecting big things this year for our family and can't wait to see what this year brings! I always find that January is my slowest picture month! After the hustle and bustle of the holidays we tend to recuperate in January and for some reason, I just don't take pictures! We are always busy now, but here goes! Tyler has started his LAST THREE CLASSES! He will graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in May. They might kill us, but I can't even begin to express how ready we are for the semester to be over and summer to be in full swing! We are ready for a homework free life!

We brought in the New Year with family and ALL my children were awake at 12:01 am. We spent the evening gorging on good snacks and spending time with our family.

My dad came up for a late Christmas and we got to spend an evening with him and two of my sisters.

Grayson lost his first tooth and his teacher texted a sweet picture of him working so so hard at school! He also has started to go to Primary in a more independent manner. We caught him one day sitting at the computer writing on paper. He said he was doing homework like daddy.

Nolan is busy busy busy! He is always into something and always has something to say! He started Primary and really enjoys it. I get to help out from time and time and I love to see him in that kind of element outside of our home! He is kind and loves his friend from church. On a side note, "Nolan's" puppy is doing great! We'd really like her to have puppies, but no luck as of yet. She really enjoys stealing the seat in front of the heater. Just like the rest of us. I guess she really does fit in our family.
Lyla turned 8 months old and got her first piggy tails! She has such fine hair (like me) I have to be careful not to just tear it all to pieces! She also started using a cup with help!

Tyler got his first set of piggy tails too!

Nana and Papaw had baby  lambs and the boys were sure to go and visit them! I think they are farm boys or something!

Lastly, I snapped this picture of my littles! I sure love them! I am very grateful for my little family. They are everything I've wanted and more! We are so blessed to be where we are and doing what were doing. We are looking forward to some changes this year!

Until next time....
