December 2017

In December, we started our holiday fun!
First, we went to a Christmas light display. We took the train through the exhibit and the boys loved it! Kendra when along for the ride and got a surprise visit from Santa. All the kids got to talk Santa and get a candy cane.

We got our first and only bit of snow for the year and built a cute snowman with the cutest little boys.

Lyla started solid foods and maybe our first baby to eat and turned 7 months old! They boys never did, so she is teaching us something new! The boys decided to drown their mac n cheese. Lastly, Grayson drew a picture of our Bishop during tithing settlement, glasses and all.

7 month old baby!

Nana and Kendra drew Grayson some pictures that he NEEDED to add to his bedroom. Zach visited again and likes to grab bows.

Grayson got a CTR ring from church. He was so careful that it took almost two weeks before it got lost!

We took some time this year to make cookies for our friends and family. The boys had such a good time. They were so good and worked very hard to make nice cookies.

Tyler was Santa for the company daycare this year. He was able to stop by and bring treats from Santa.

The very next day he took two weeks off from work using a bunch of left over vacation time. Unfortunately, he got what I believe was THE flu. He spent his birthday and most of his time off sick!

I got Lyla's stocking made and we were ready for Christmas! We spent Christmas Eve at Nana's making nativities and wearing the giant sombrero.

My sister stopped by to exchange presents and we got a picture with all the cousins on my side!

My babies in Christmas PJS is too much! I love them!
Christmas was wonderful and we love our little family!

November 2017

In November, we started my favorite holidays! There is so much time spent with family, that Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years are my favorite time of year!
Emily and I want to be able to help out in our Kindergartner classes, that we switch babysitting for our other littles. Lyla and Zach like to spend time with each other while Nolan and Mia are busy playing.

Lyla turned 6 months and I don't know where the time went!

Tyler took the boys to the store and learned how mischievous they can be when not confined to the cart. Grayson somehow got himself stuck behind the couch.... no idea, just that he's so heavy that it was hard to get him out!

This next picture, has a long story. I play the organ for church on Sunday. Tyler also has to work on Sunday occasionally. Usually he can at least go to Sacrament meeting. Well, this particular Sunday, he got called into work about 20 mins before church started. All of our baby sitters were gone for the weekend and I was in a lurch. I had to play, finding a sub was the least likely possibility. The thought hit me to call the Nursery Leaders to sit with them. They are a lovely gramma/grampa couple who now and love my boys like their own. They were willing, and everything turned out great, angels on earth are real! By the time Sacrament meeting we over we were tired, so we hid in nursery so the boys could play.

We went to Idaho for Thanksgiving and my babies got some cute pictures with my Grandparents.

We got a call from the school nurse, that she was worried about Grayson's eyesight. His language skills have never allowed him to complete an eye test, but this nurse noticed something different and suggested we take him in. We found a great eye doctor and learned that Grayson has HORRIBLE eye sight and will forever need glasses. We always wondered, but could never have guessed it to be that bad. So two doctor visits and $500, Grayson has a new pair of glasses! We know they are working, because he keeps them on. Here's to hoping they start helping at school!

October 2017

We spent October enjoying the last of the sun. For our Bi-annual Swamily we went to the Dinosaur Park in Odgen! It was fun and so very very warm and we had fun walking all the energy out of my busy boys! They also have a park/play place with HUGE dinosaurs to climb on.

We went to my mom's for Conference weekend and the leaves started to fall. The boys love grammas trampoline and all the fun farm toys they can find. We love playing the leaves with cousins!

This age is so fun with my babies! Grayson and Nolan are best friends and they love Lyla so much! I'm afraid as they grow it may not always be this way!

We didn't buy Grayson's school picture this time, but look at that cute boy! He's too big and I want him to stay 5 forever!

Lyla turned 5 months old and we finally got a picture of ALL 4 grand-babies born in the Swallow family this year.

For Halloween, the boys were Farmer/Cowboys and Lyla was their cow. It was so cute to watch them.

My family came up and I got to take some pictures of this cute girl! I'm excited to see what the next stage of her life brings!

Until next time......
