In April, we could put the coats away and start wearing jackets!
Grayson and Lynnlee wanted to watch a rain storm with Kendra!

 

Baby girl is growing and I spent some time making her a blanket like I did for the boys! I had enough fabric to make a carseat cover as well!

 

In Logan, there is an event  called, Baby Animal Days. They have a big outdoor center where they have baby animals of all kinds. They have a train and wagon rides too. We were gifted the opportunity to go. That was good because afterward, I would have never willingly paid to go... The lines were SO SO SO long! We waited for the train for at least an hr and only because it would break my children's hearts to not ride. You win some, you loose some. SPOILER ALERT, bad family picture ahead! Purely for documentation purposes.

 

 

We had a LOT of fun this Easter. The boys got two Easter Egg hunts! We have some really good friends with an ADORABLE daughter, so we got together for an egg hunt. There were so many eggs, that by the end none of the kids could carry their baskets!

 

 

Easter Sunday was spent with our family.

The Idaho Falls Temple was renovated and they hosted an open house. This was the temple I went to in my youth. It was a wonderful opportunity to take the kids inside the temple. They always want to go inside. We really enjoyed the time with my family in the temple!

At the end of April, Tyler decided to "fix" the annoying pokey tree in our front yard. It was fun and games until it was time to clean up. 

 

In May, things get INTERESTING!

March 2017

GUYS! It stopped snowing! We didn't think it ever would! Instead, all of the snow melted... quickly. Too quickly. We were very lucky that the previous house owners installed a sump pump. We did not flood but too many friends and neighbors did! It was crazy to see how many people needed help removing water and drying out basements. Our sump pump would turn on and pump water out of the well every 20 mins all day long for about a week! It was one of the craziest things I've seen! With all the snow gone we got to go outside! Kendra is great at entertaining all the little ones!

 

The kids were able to use their Christmas presents from Gramma! 

We met the first of 4 Swallow cousins in 2017! Zachy boy is born! We love him and he is adorable! We took Lynn and Mia to church and let Mitch and Emily have a small break! When I say we, I mean Tyler, because I still play the organ. Whoops. 

 

GUYS! I am in the third trimester! This is definitely my most difficult pregnancy! I just can't shake that pukey thing... maybe it's a girl thing? Can't wait to meet baby girl! Also... I really dislike doing laundry. Can't catch a break. I can't even muster the courage to tell you how often I wash and DRY a chap stick! Don't EVER do it! It's not worth it! I tell Tyler I should be banned from doing the laundry... he doesn't agree...

February 2017

February was February. I've still felt pretty yucky, but we are all starting to get cabin fever! So much so that Tyler took the boys camping! In the living room of course!

The boys were ready to camp when I got home from the dentist! 

We have fun eating lots of treats for the Super Bowl. Grayson likes to snag the best seat by sitting with Papaw!

   

We had a lot of interesting food choices in February. We got a food dehydrator for Christmas (adult-ish, I know.) and Tyler took to dehydrating anything he could think of! The boys learned the art of a great mozzarella stick and they stole my dinner carrots. They didn't actually eat them, just played with them forever! 

 

We have so much snow this year that the boys were able to build a small snow cave. They love it! 

 

They boys were so excited to give "balentines" to their friends! Nolan got to join in this year and was so so happy!

 

Papaw had baby goats again! It is always a very exciting adventure to go and welcome the new baby goats!

 


Aunt Lillie taught Grayson how to take a great selfie! At school, Grayson's class went on a treasure hunt as pirates and found gold coins (chocolate). Everyone had to take a turn dressed as a pirate.

 

I think Tyler is tired of shoveling snow... if it could slow down.... that'd be great!
