We did have a day where we felt safe attending Superbowl! There were TONS of snacks and lots of silly children!
Nana and Papaw got a new treadmill and WITH SUPERVISION, the children had some fun.
We had a nice and quite Valentines Day. The kids look forward to picking and signing their Valentines.
Tyler made the chocolate bouquet ALL by himself! He really knows me! The kids wanted to buy me flowers. Tyler said no, they just die. Nolan quickly replied, "Ok, where's the chocolate!". Maybe, I have a problem....
We went swimming. It was cold. Again. Sigh. Apparently a warm swimming pool is just too much to ask. The kids as always, had fun! My family was up for my birthday and I hope they enjoyed it, as well!
One day, Tyler took the kids shopping and had to GET THE DEAL! Lyla was his super helper! Lyla lives her best life at the dollar store! She is also OBSESSED with Frozen. She lucked out that she needed pj's and I found some on sale! She was so very very excited.
Grayson figured out how to give her a piggy back ride and it was so cute!
The following picture is hilarious. I heard Nolan evil giggling to himself in the other room. I came to investigate, only to find that he had graffiti-ed (with dry erase) on Lyla's white board. I don't even know where he learned. Very funny, indeed.
For Valentines day we got a gift card from my mom to Denny's. After dinner we got ice cream at Mack's. The kids chose bubble gum. It was SOO nasty, but they loved it! We had a wonderful family night out!
Grayson's school music class did a first grade program. It was all about Spring and Summer. He was given a speaking part and did a great job!
At the Logan Outlet, we keep finding cheap Kinder-eggs (if you don't know what these are, consider yourself lucky!) They are Avengers themed and we LOVE Avengers at our house. They are working on the full set. Anyways, they come with candy and a tiny Avenger. The kids spent on morning before church bouncing them into oblivion using what they call, "the bouncy bed". Nolan jumped the FULL flight of stairs to launch Hulk into space. Don't worry, we stopped them as soon as we realized how far they were jumping.
Also as the Logan Outlet, Tyler found his VERY favorite candy bar. They were sold in stores for a limited time only. He is now finding the surplus and BUYING it up! This was his first of two trips to make sure he got enough!
We ended February by cleaning the Church. Twice. Communication and family calendars are important to avoid these mistakes. Extra blessings, I guess? The kids enjoyed every minute of it, and I'm glad we got to share that experience with them! Except for the fact that I cleaned 7 toilets and mopped the floor. That BARELY happens at my own house! Well, the mopping part, anyways; DON'T JUDGE!
In March, Utah loses is marbles. We are scrambling to get them back! It may not be possible to find ANY of them.
Until next time...
