June 2019

In June we started baseball! We were able to put Nolan and Grayson on the same team. They played in Garland on their 6 year old machine pitch team. Tyler coached and this age was so fun to watch play baseball! We really enjoyed this league and can't wait for next summer!

This is how Grayson would get ready at night before games. Sno-Cones became a regular after-game snack.

The boys grew so much and are better little players after this season! Lyla is also ready to play! Bring on all the baseball!

The boys were so great at hitting off the machine! They surprised and impressed me! It was so fun!

We spent a lot of time outside fishing and doing projects. We are loving the warm weather!

This fishing trip took us to a small pond in Honeyville. I froze my butt off. Don't let the sun fool you, IT WAS COLD!

The boys "fish" by constantly casting their dummy fish. Lyla likes to throw rocks in the water. There are no pictures of Tyler because he is trying to fish and they aren't helping. This trip was at Mantua. Did you know they have wild poppies?? I caught them in bloom and they are BEAUTIFUL!

Grayson lost two teeth this month! He even let us do the door and floss trick! Lyla wanted in on the action and asked us to pull her teeth out!

Papaw decided that he would pay the boys if they rode one of the fair sheep they are raising in the pasture. Hilarity and terror ensued; for all parties involved.

Tyler and I celebrated our 8th anniversary. It's amazing how much has changed in 8 years. We love our family and are incredibly blessed to be where we are 8 years later! Here's to the next 8!

We have been going to free school lunch and it's been great! It's a great way for my kids to try new foods and get TONS of fruits and vegetables. Their favorite part is the chocolate milk. When we meet up with cousins, we are quite the group!

We went to my family reunion in Firth again. Its a fun and easy camping trip. We had fun and wished we could have stayed another day!

As soon as we got home, I got ready and headed off to girl's camp. It was great and I'm grateful for the opportunity to be apart of the Young Women's program. This was the first time I've been away from Tyler and the kids as a whole, in like, 8 years. We went to Camp Liberty in Eden, Utah. The weather was great and we did lots of fun things. I enjoyed archery. The waterfall hike took me for my money, but I survived!

Tyler spent his days keeping the kid entertained. We had an extra friend tag-a-long for a few days. I think she had fun with our crazy boys.

Lyla sure missed me and hasn't left my side since I got home. I missed them just as much!

My mom set up her pool and the kids had a blast! We ended the month by getting festive for Sammy's birthday!

Up next, The Birthday Month!
Until next time....
