Grayson is 5-July 2017

We officially have a 5 year old! This is one of the milestones I didn't expect to come so quickly! For a while now he has loved Octonauts. For his birthday we suggested going to the aquarium in Draper. For three weeks he asked when we were going to see the "ocean animals". It was a very worth while experience!

 

 

 

 

 
Dinotrucks has also been a favorite this year! I was really happy with the cake I made for Grayson! he loved it!

 

Grayson is a special boy and he was meant for our family. Sometimes I think he is here to teach us! Having Grayson started teaching Tyler and I how to be parents! Some of his struggles have taught us how to fight for our children and their needs! Grayson boy is happy, sweet and lovable. He truly tries to do good and love others. He says that Nolan is his best friend and that you better stay away from his baby sister! He too, loves to be outside and just needs space to MOVE. The boy is full of what seems to be endless amounts of energy. He is a big boy and wants to "do it himself". He doesn't really like food, he's very picky. He does like buttered bread and frosting the most. Very nutritional, I know.

July 2017

July always seems to be our busiest month! It's summer and there are two birthdays so we like to GET OUT OF THE HOUSE! Tyler finished those 9 credits in 8 weeks and we really needed whatever break we could get before the next 10 credits started!

Lyla turned 2 months old and started giving us smiles! She is very sweet and a very good baby! She is my first to have a "witching hour", but we are enduring well!

 

The boys still love hold Lyla and enjoy every second! Nolan knows the importance of the bow and I caught him trying to put it on her one day.

 

Tyler got the gun he has been wishing for since last year. Grayson learned "hook 'em horns" and the boys had fun a primary activity day, especially the popsicles!

 

This first is picture is where the boys hid while we had fireworks. They were scared because Uncle Tommy almost blew up the neighborhood. We couldn't get them to come out of the house after than! Grayson is leaning to write his name and we are proud of the progress he is making before kindergarten starts!

 

Tyler showed the boys how he can trace them! They had fun looking at their shapes and saying who was who!

 

Aunt Lillie got married and we spent a very fun day with family. Grayson REALLY liked the frosting off of the cake.

Nolan is 3-July 2017

My blonde little baby is three! Where does the time go! He share's his birthday with 2 other cousins and is close to the 4th of July, so he usually gets to celebrate more than once!
We went swimming one day, celebrated with Sammy the next, and ate cake with Gramma after that!

 

He got a tent to share with his brother and they slept in it for like a week!

 

Noli LOVES airplanes, and I did my best to give him an airplane cake. My frosting wasn't stiff enough. It's ALMOST a pinterest "nailed it".

We love our Nolan boy. He is just like his daddy in so many ways! He is definitely a middle child, but perfect for our family! He knows just how to love his baby sister. He knows perfectly how to love his big brother! He is so sweet and spicy. He has so much language that we are never sure what he is going to say! I love to listen to his pretend play when he doesn't know I'm listening. He is very creative! He would spend every minute outside if I would let him. He loves his "puppy" and misses her when we are gone! His favorite foods are spaghetti and green beans. His favorite treat is a sucker. His favorite song in nursery is the "Jesus Beep" song (Jesus Wants Me For a Sunbeam) and he loves church because of nursery.
