November 2025

We started November with Lyla's end of season party. She got a trophy for second place and MVP for her team. Proud of her always working and being a light! Tyler is so beloved when he helps the girls, doesn't matter if it's dugout or base running, he's magical at making them feel important and have fun!

My friend Kelly and I are working on some fun musical numbers for our Stake Light the World. I love making music with her and dragging our kids along! Piano, Organ, Bells, kid and adult voices?! What could be better??

The nusing home for Marie did not work out. Tyler and kids spent another weekend helping move her from the center into Kenney and Teresa's. Hopefully Marie is comfortable here and things can move smoothly for everyone involved.

Both Nolan and Lyla sang at their school for Veteran's Day. I love watching them use their musical talents!
These two have been friends since Kinder. We learned they were members in a different ward and now we are in the same ward and just love their family! So a picture was required!

Love that Lyla has found a group of cuties to be feral with!

These are my PTA friends. I'm sure luck to know some really great people!

For Tennis, only the top 4 teams qualify for the District Tennis Tournament. Grayson's team qualified! So we spent basically ALL of one Saturday supporting him.
He got MVP on one of the matches before the Tournament.

Tyler took the time to get some good pictures on tournament day.

For the first time, Marine Creek Middle School won a championship! It was a great day to watch them work and come out on top! They have to win 2 matches (about 20 sets) to get first! Grayson contributed to match points that helped his team! He has a great coach and it was well deserved! Grayson will keep working all winter and hopes to make the Spring team and do it all again starting in February

Nolan also had a team party! His team got second overall before the tournament and got a trophy as well! I think he would like to play with this team again in the spring! I donated many items to his PACE class and he came home with the LARGEST castle ever. Told him he could only keep it until bulk pick-up day.

For General Conference this year we did something a little different. Our friends, the Smith Family, created a Fantasy General Conference game. We had each kid make predictions and pick an activity if they won the most points. It's new tradition for sure! We loved it! Nolan won and picked Ally Cats. I told him it might be too expensive, but I happened on a Black Friday deal that allowed us to spend the day there!

There were lots of go-kart racing.

Everyone but Lyla got a hole in one (or two) in put-put. We've never played a game with so many holes in one!

Laser tag secrets were learned and Lyla won bowling!

Nolan was not super enthused that she won.

Tyler became the drink pack mule. The kiddies rides were okay but we were ready to leave have some lunch! Except for the kids who got motion sick on the tea cups.

We got a new tree after about 10 years with the old one. We decided to put it up a little bit early this year! Just a couple days before Thanksgiving. Isn't she pretty? We are really happy with the Nativity tree collar we found at Ross.
We spent Thanksgiving in Grand Prairie. Lillie's family joined and plenty of cousin fun was had!

We spent a good portion of our week long break at home together. We got to watch all the Harry Potter movies and put our LEGO Hogwarts together! I finally have a picture of it for posterity!

A crazy December is up next!
Until next time!
