March 2024

March has been so busy! Tyler, Kenney and the boys went to Globe life field where they watched a day of college baseball games. We all love a good day at the ball parks. Treats and baseball it's a blast!

They lucked out and the World Series trophy was finally in house! WITHOUT a huge line. Lyla and I are very jealous. We still haven't seen it in person.

Lyla and I took the same day to enjoy together. We got some newer school clothes because this girl is growing like a weed. Then we treated ourselves to Chili's and stopped at the pet store to look at the pets in stock.

Lyla got to make her own frozen yogurt sundae. She was so excited and said it was so delicious.

A friend from my childhood lives in our ward here in Texas and I got to help celebrate her new baby! It was fun to meet new people and remember good times from our youth!
Tyler and Grayson took a trip to Houston/Galveston and came back with an early Easter present. Hermit Crabs! Spoiler alert, two died before Easter even came around. Lyla and Grayson think they are great! Nolan.... not so much!

Texas in March is great fishing weather. Tyler tries to get in as much as he can before baseball games start and it get too hot!

Tyler felt festive for St. Patrick's Day and made some green breakfast. These kids are growing so one pan of cinnamon rolls is no longer enough. They loved it and cleaned the pan!

We are neck deep in baseball! We just go go go and practice every second in between. Nolan gets to try pitching for the first time this season and I am designated catcher so that the pool can stay hole free.

Our school hosted a Muffins with Mom event and I got to go with the kids to breakfast at school. I love that they have stuff like this at school and want to go with me!

We FINALLY made it to opening day! All 3 kids had games. This season Nolan and Grayson almost ALWAYS have an overlapping game. Thankfully, the fields are right next to each other. We can simply turn around to see who's at bat or in the field. It's always a crazy time! I LOVE watching these kids play baseball and get better every day!
We moved Lyla up to coach pitch this year. She's a good little hitter and is learning more and more about how to play the pitcher position in coach pitch. She is so fun to watch!

Nolan is on a team with a few other kids from last year and some parents we already know! He is learning so much! It's fun to watch his baseball IQ expand. He gets to play just about everywhere. He is a jack of all trades. He is excited to learn more about pitching this season and that this team will let him have a chance to learn a new position. That doesn't always happen at PYBSA....

Grayson moved up to 12U. He is on a really supportive team. He's in his head this year. He's such a good kid. He does his best to listen, learn and support his team. He's always making noise for his teammates!

Kenney and Teresa joined us early in the baseball season to watch a few games!

In the next 7 days, we have 10 baseball games. Thankfully they are all in the same place.
Here's to living at the ball fields.
Until next time...
