Aug 2022: Nolan's Baptsim

We had a party. A HUGE and fun and crazy important party. Nolan chose to get baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He's a great kid with the ability to make great choices! He had some many people near and far supporting him! My mom flew in, my sister, Cassidy flew in, Mitch drove down and Lillie drove up! Tyler's mom and dad drove over as well. Tyler's grandma was even able to drive about 3 hrs to be there as well!

Nolan worked hard all summer long to learn, "When I am Baptized". He and I were able to play a simple duet together. Shout out to Lillie, thank you for taking this picture!

There were cousins and fun everywhere. Afterward, we had lunch and enjoyed our families!

Nolan FINALLY got his own set of scriptures. He's been hoping he would get some for a while now!

Our children and Mitch's children are what we call "cousin twins" each of them have a cousin buddy born within 3 months of each other. It was time we updated their cousin progress. Sadly, we got a puppy instead of an Ender. But I think they get along fine! They have all grown so much, I can't even!

This was Ender and Cora's first meeting, sorry, no timeline.

After lunch it was hot and there was fun to be had outside. There was swimming, water balloons and a slip n' slide. Tyler and Mitch worked on shortening our front room light. More than one person has gotten a dinger because it is so low!

I will never forget watching Mitch run (quite successfully, I might add) in those KIDS swimming flippers. Hilarious.

The slip n' slide got nasty real quick. Our yard needs better grass. Ender, however was livin' his best life alone with no one getting in his way.

After all that, we had some quiet time. We discovered Bluey; we embraced Bluey and passed out on the couch. Ok, maybe I was the only one who took a nap.

Until next time...
