January 2021

Every year I make the same remark about January. After all the hustle and bustle of the holidays, we really don't do much in January. There aren't a whole lot of pictures to share, we chill and try to get back in the swing of school. January also seems to be the LONGEST month of the year. It takes the longest to complete.

These kids are busy as ever and love their puppy even more! On long walks, they get tired LONG before Cora does.

With Grayson turning 9 this year, he can do a large animal project for the fair. Nana and Papaw graciously donated a baby goat, now named Trophy, to Grayson's project. He is so excited!

Many baby goats hit the ground in January. We love going over to catch them and take pictures. This little white goat is the littlest, cutest little girl goat! We love her!

Nolan has been working really hard in school! He got 100% on his very first spelling test! He always knows how to make us laugh.

I had the unfortunate opportunity of running my phone over. I had to stop and get out of the car at a stop sign. It fell out without my knowledge and was run over before I found it again. However, we were very fortunate to have some free insurance through our credit card! They reimbursed me enough to buy a new one!

We got a treadmill for the first time. The kids LOVED the box! They colored it, fixed it with tools and even slept in it. It was fun for two days, then into the trash it went.

We FINALLY went to church for the first time since Christmas. We dressed up in the Christmas church clothes we got, but didn't get to use. In 2016 I realized we only had one family photo that whole year. So better LATE than NEVER, in my opinion.

On to February we go! Which flew by after January felt slow as tar!
Until next time...
