The end of March brings about my favorite thing about Texas. Wildflowers! This year we took a family day, drove out to Ennis and spent a few hours driving around the fields marveling at the Bluebonnets that are blooming in rolling fields of blue! It was amazing. They kids kinda didn't care but it was so beautiful!
Our favorite park was closed to drive through so we made sure to get out and walk around. It was so worth it! We got the sun, the flowers and their smell on the breeze! Such a wonderful day! I like to take my good camera and see what I can capture. My landscape skills are severely lacking, but I love what we end up seeing.
Ennis has a Buc-ee's. If there is a Buc-ee's, we are stopping! I think Tyler started running a fever that morning, but was in denial. He looks so thrilled to be a Buc-ee's.
When the flowers bloom, it means Easter is right around the corner. We had our first Easter with just us! We decorated eggs and Tyler made an awesome brisket!
These dinosaur puppets were bought. Hilarity ensured. These kids are so creative and so funny with these puppets. They got to ride to church and we were cracking up!
I love these people and any time that we get to take a family photo! Our Easter Sunday was a wonderful day and I'm grateful to Jesus Christ and that because of Him I get to be with the people I love the most! The Primary learned the words to "Because" by Shauna Edwards. It says, Because He gave to me, everything, He had to give, I breathe, I see, I hope, I love.... I live. Such a powerful statement!
Until next time...
