We are very excited! It's a boy, we have been calling him, Nolan. Tyler loves baseball and the Sackett brothers! Due the beginning of July this time so maybe I won't melt as much! This last half of my pregnancy has been easier.. per say.. but the first half was ROUGH! I love babies and bringing children into my family, but boy does pregnancy itself take it's toll on me! My morning sickness was even worse this time than last. Then I got a horrible MRSA (google it!) infection on my face and had to take a high dose antibiotic! Maybe my labor will be easier? Can't blame a girl for wishing!
One day I looked out the window, and what did I see?
A popcorn tree! Two, in fact! Oh they were soo pretty and I love them, and it was such a wonderful surprise! Aren't they beautiful!
Let me tell you, things have just been popping up in my yard! And I didn't kill them! The funniest thing is that I didn't know what any of them were! I did know what the roses were. I learned about the Iris's. And the Peonies. They are my favorite (thanks, gramma!). The purple round ones? No idea. There's some even taller ones like those that are just starting to bloom, again, no idea. But! I didn't kill them! Go me!
Easter happened. We like to keep it pretty chill. I thought Grayson might enjoy dying eggs... he just liked to throw the eggs in the dye. Literally. That was fun... He also really likes Jellybeans!
We have been spending a lot of time outside! We have learned a few things.... Grayson likes to run. He especially likes running down the street and into a neighbors flower bed with fake bears.
So we realized we needed to build a fence! Tyler and Tommy dug all the holes and pounded the posts! Kenney took Tyler to Logan in his pickup truck and helped him buy all the supplies. My pregnant self, helped (maybe..) hold the panels as Tyler screwed 'em in. It was quite the project, but doesn't it look sooo nice? and I can breathe a little easier, as my child isn't in the street every time I turn around!
As it warmed up we also learned that Tyler's little black pickup-died. Fixing it was more expensive than it was worth. Also, starting in Aug, Tyler will be going to USU Logan campus for classes. We decided we needed to get a bigger family car so Tyler can have our smaller black car to commute. I can't begin to tell you how much research we did! We really wanted a Buick Enclave or GMC Acadia. However, we learned GM is just not up to snuff! So many things were/still are going wrong with these cars! We didn't want to risk it! So we went with this beauty-
2007 Toyota Sequoia. 3rd row seating, captain chairs, DVD, navigation, 2wd/4wd. Way cool! And we got a rocking deal! Now, to make it last....
It seems like summer has just started! There is still soo much to do before this new kid arrives! We have TWO high school graduation and a baby blessing next week! I also planted a garden! Was a crazy? we shall see! Wish us luck!
Until next time...
