April 2019

April started with Lyla being silly. In one span I caught her wearing 5 different pairs of boots.

This year the kids put some more effort into following along for General Conference. They could earn tickets for being good and completing papers. Then they could spend the tickets at our conference store. It was fun and I feel like they worked hard at paying attention.

The kids are busy and always finding something fun to do! The sun has come out and the days have been warmer. This means that we have been spending more time time outside! Everyone loves to play with Lyla and Lyla loves to be in the middle of everything!

We had TWO weddings on the same day and spent a lot of fun time with cousins!

While we were at Grammas, my brother and his wife brought over their hamsters. Everyone got to play with them and they loved it!

Next, we had so many fun Easter adventures. First, we had an egg hunt with my mom...

A friend invited us to another Easter Egg hunt with an airplane candy bomber...

There was Easter Egg dying at Nana's house....

And finally, the Easter Bunny Stopped by our house!

This year we made Resurrection Rolls. The boys loved making them and then finding that the "tomb was empty". They were delicious as well!

Obligatory holiday family photo!

Until next time...

March 2019

March usually begins with baby goats! They kids get so excited to go see them! Lyla could not handle it. She thought they were so cute and started chasing them around the pasture. She would laugh when they made noise and tried to imitate them!

Then the boys got the weirdest sickness. One day they would have a tiny fever. The next day, there was nothing! Then the next day the fever came back higher and longer! It meant 4 days of missed school for Grayson. We are glad it passed over Lyla and is now gone! I do like fevers of all the sicknesses. It's the cleanest bug and it's the only thing that slows them down!

We now to get to hear from Tommy pretty often! It's a nice change! Sometimes we get cute pictures during Come, Follow Me.

The sun came out and everyone needed some sunglasses. Grayson had an eye appointment and needed new glasses. He needed a stronger prescription and we were instructed to do some exercises at home.

St. Patrick's Day went about like this:
And we went to the DUMBEST circus ever! I do not recommend King Cole Circus. I'm glad I didn't pay full price.
Trampolines went on sale and we added one to our lives. We had lots of help and lots of fun! We only had to do the springs 3 times because we missed some steps...

Let me tell you, these kids love their daddy and it's because he totally deserves it! He always plays with them and gives them his time. They want to be like him and that's the best thing they could try to be!

The kids love each other most of the time and I love they way they play together!

Until next time....
